Disappointed with care and communication important to know
I came to see Dr. Genia Bekker because I was experiencing an extreme medical issue. During the appointment, the doctor insisted on a biopsy and prescribed hormones without explaining why the procedure was necessary or what was happening, which left me feeling shocked and uninformed.
My interactions with the office staff were also frustrating. When I asked to extend my medication until my next appointment, my request was declined, and the front desk/assistant responded in a rude and dismissive manner, interrupting me, putting me on hold, and hanging up before I could explain my situation. It felt unprofessional and added unnecessary stress.
Overall, the lack of clear communication, support, and empathy from both the doctor and staff made this a very negative experience. I’m sharing this review because I want to help other women be aware of what they might expect when seeking care at this office, so they can make informed decisions and advocate for themselves.
